Hi! We're the Franks—Will, Jane, a daughter and four sons. Drawn Small is our family project to bring art to your home.

Jane and I are Texas natives, both English major alumni from the University of Dallas. I went on to get my MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, and we're now raising our brood of children in the wilds of a St. Louis suburb. We have a small house with chickens in the backyard, an etching press in the basement, and more art than our walls can handle. We wish the same for you!

Drawn Small starts with our determination that beauty—and making—be a part of our family culture. My wife and I both grew up with art in our homes, much of it made by family members from various generations. Our home is similarly bedecked, and the kids have a delightful confidence in their own creative work. In my day job, I'm lucky enough to make big art for churches and public spaces. We hope to offer a similar service for the "domestic church," your homes, through Drawn Small. We believe that these daily, small interactions with beautifully-made things form our imaginations, drawing us toward that first maker, our creator.

Our subjects here are those that are near at hand: leaves, feathers, the Word. Many of the original pieces are made with the help of little hands. We then work with local printers to scan and reproduce our artwork as giclée prints—high quality archival prints that will not fade or yellow with time.

Thanks for visiting, and we look forward to sending something from our home to yours.
